Fruit Festivals and Icons- Initial Research

Below is the initial research that I conducted using the internet. I looked into existing festivals which revolve around fruit in order to see how they portray different elements of the festival. As there is also a link with the second world war and the plums, I decided to look at ration stamps and jam jar labels in particular for inspiration.

I researched the Pershore Plum Festival that was held in previous years to get a feel and an idea for the type of festival it is and then the audience that it is being targeted at specifically. Below are some images from Google Images of the festival.
